September 10th - will all I remember is the rain?

I didn't recall any stories the night of the 10th and here I am the morning after with little memory of the previous day.  Is it so un memorable that I can no longer remember by the next day?

But no -  I was reworking the Rothgarber first movement and try the idea of small sections, three in a row and then repeating them every 2 minutes each three times and it was interesting how much more familiar the work was when I went back to the section again and then again.  Was it better?  Certainly more familiar.  I also realized that I am not actively listening to the the shape of the line and when I sang the line I was closer to the shape.  I watched Blanche do this the day before and she sang the WHOLE time she was playing.

I did not snack yesterday and this was significant.  I also used the evening to cook rather than watch TV.  Big deal, truly.  I am snuffing out that distraction whenever I can.
